Rather than re-living trauma, the focus is on restoring balance to your body and mind, supporting long-term healing and resilience.

During our sessions, we will use techniques such as somatic inquiry, breath work, and mindful movement to help you become more aware of your body’s responses to stress and trauma.
Unlike traditional yoga practices, which may focus on physical flexibility or strength, trauma-informed yoga therapy focuses on helping you reconnect with your body in a gentle and supportive way. The aim is not to revisit painful memories, but to use the body as a tool for healing—calming the nervous system, releasing tension, and restoring a sense of safety within your own body.​​​
