Botox vs. Filler - Why not both?

What is Botox?

Botox is an injectable neuromuscular blocking agent administered to prevent contractions of the underlying muscle in the treatment/target area, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, creating a smoother appearance of the skin’s surface.

What is Filler?

Filler is an injectable Hyaluronic Acid gel administered to add volume to the target area, restoring age-related volume loss, reducing the look of fine lines, or enhancing facial contours.

Immediate results with some swelling for up to 2 weeks. Results last from 6 months to 2 years depending on the type of filler, the area treated, and the individual.

Can I get Botox and Filler at the same time?

Often, a combination of the two treatments are used to achieve an overall desired youthful look for many patients. Reducing wrinkles brought on by the facial expressions we make with Botox and adding volume to areas that have depleted fat as we have aged with fillers. These products are amazing, and when used in combination, work that much better to deliver patients a unique chance to look as good as they feel. To feel more confident in their skin.
